The private residence in Lumino, in the Canton of Ticino, stands out for an lighting project that combines discretion and expressiveness.

The intervention originated with the aim of enhancing the architecture, while ensuring energy savings, comfort, and an elegant night identity. I envisioned the light as a subtle presence, integrated with balance into the architectural artifact, capable of creating warm and welcoming atmospheres without ever overpowering the material.

The lighting fixtures have been positioned to guide residents along the pathways, ensuring safety and orientation.

The guiding logic has been that of harmony: highlighting colours and textures, alternating solids and voids, light and shadow. The result is an environment that breathes, where technology and aesthetic sensitivity engage in a dialogue to offer a coherent and immersive perception, transforming the home into a place that acquires a new identity at night.
